European Commission provides funding for researchers in Ireland
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions is a European Commission funding program that supports researchers at all stages of their careers, in various areas of knowledge. Full funding of approximately € 100,000 per year is offered for a researcher to work for up to two years in a European company.
Funding is open to companies in Ireland with strong research and innovation programs in all areas of knowledge. Candidate researchers need a PhD level, or graduation plus 4 years of research experience, and have not studied, worked or lived in Ireland for more than 3 years, in the last 5 years before applying.
Entries run until September 9, 2020 and the results will be released between January and February 2021.
The Irish Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Office, which is jointly operated by the Irish Universities Association and the Irish Research Council, provides advice and support in the preparation of Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant applications.
