La Caixa opens selection for doctoral scholarships in Spain or Portugal

The Social Organization “La Caixa” offers 35 doctoral grants for young researchers of all nationalities, to carry out doctoral studies in the areas of health and life sciences, technology, physics, engineering and mathematics, in Spanish or Portuguese territory, in Spanish centers accredited with the Severo Ochoa o María de Maeztu emblems, Institutos de Investigación Sanitaria Carlos III, or Portuguese units classified as “excellent” or “exceptional” by the Foundation for Science and Technology of Portugal.

The scholarships cover tuition fees for 3 years (€ 34,800 / year) and an annual allowance of approximately € 3,500.

Applications are open until February 4 and those interested in applying for an INPhINIT Incoming Doctorate scholarship must create a personal account on the foundation's website and complete the online application form via the link. The final list of selected candidates, as well as the list of candidates in reserve, where applicable, will be published on the “La Caixa” website on June 2.
